For my first post ever, I wanted to keep things simple and honest.

I created this website — and this whole project — because I needed a space for my thoughts about gaming as an adult. A place to sort out the frustrations, nostalgia, and questions that have been rattling around in my mind these past few years. Life changes, routines shift, and somewhere along the way I found myself wanting a small corner where I could slow down and reflect. Somewhere I could vent a bit, explore how I’ve grown, and reconnect with the parts of gaming that still matter to me.

So, here’s the proper introduction I’ve been meaning to make:

My name is Martin. I was born in September 1998, I’m from Denmark, and I’ve always had a deep passion for gaming — not just playing, but thinking about what games mean, how they shape us, and why they stick with us long after we log out. I also love to write. Whether it’s personal reflections, fictional adventures, or stories inspired by worlds I’ve explored in games, writing has always been the way I process things.

This blog brings those passions together: gaming, storytelling, and the need for a quiet space to share it all. I don’t expect perfection here, and I’m not aiming to be a guide or a critic — just someone trying to understand his own relationship with games as life continues to change.

If any of this resonates with you, I’m glad you’re here.

For the sake of transparency:

the assets, visuals, and some of the refined wording on this site are created with help from a mix of AI tools, friends, and family. Everything still reflects my own thoughts and voice — I just use the resources available to shape it into something I’m proud to share.

Closing Thoughts

If you’ve made it this far, THANK YOU for reading my very first post.

This project is something small and personal, but it already means a lot to me. I’m looking forward to exploring the ups and downs of gaming, writing more openly, and seeing where this quiet little corner of the internet goes from here.
